We knew we wanted to BRING IT for the female athletes of East Tennessee and that our focus, energy, and experience would generate results for them. After one year in the books, we are blown away by our female athlete program. The numbers speak for themselves, counting adults, teens, and pre-teens, we are right at 1/1 male to female ratio. Many principles of strength & conditioning are constant between male and female athletes, being aware of the issues typical to the female athlete greatly enhance the coach-athlete relationship and lead to greater performance. Our coaching staff has extensive experience with these issues; therefore, we are currently enjoying a very large roster of female athletes. Currently we train females that participate in basketball, cheerleading, figure competitions, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, motocross, skiing, soccer, softball, and volleyball including dozens of champions, college scholarship athletes and two All Americans. What we’re doing is working, our programs are fresh and challenging and our coach-athlete relationships are leading to more and more success.
Running fast is all about running more efficiently. It's about focus. It's about quality repititions, and it's about power and strength. Every Saturday at 10:00 am our athletes get advanced speed training. If you can't run fast, then you can't play. Speed is so important to the success of our athletes that we devote an entire day to learning, and practicing great technique. You never know what new toy we'll work with on any given session. You do know that it will help you understand and apply speed techniques so that you are as fast as you can be with your current strength levels. Once you are 100% efficient, then the only way we can get you faster is to get you stronger. That's why we have a three story weight room next to our acre+ of field turf.
Speed is a skill and can therefore be learned and perfected over time. One of the most important aspects of our Advanced Speed Training is that you can participate, learn, and train without having a membership. Our day pass is $10.00 and there are no pre requisites. We have athletes join us from as far away as Bristol, TN for these weekly speed creating sessions.
