CHAMPIONSHIP PERFORMANCE SERIES

Football, Lacrosse, & Rugby players ages 7-18

Our CPS training specifically addresses the physical and mental needs of football, lacrosse, and rugby players. We divide our groups by age and athletic ability to ensure that each athlete is properly challenged to improve in all areas of athletic development.  Performance enhancement can be learned and mastered like any other skill; therefore, we believe in starting early to give the athlete the best shot possible. Our main goal is the joy of athletic achievement for our athletes. We teach and correct the proper and efficient mechanics, of sprinting, basic agility quickness, bounding, pushing, pulling, starting, stopping, changing direction, and core strength. We also want to establish the mental aspect of training and competing. Our Football training builds the confidence of each athlete to help give them the competitive advantage needed to succeed. JLTA pays particular attention to maintaining an electrifying atmosphere that is fun and exciting while developing skill performance levels and a winning attitude.

Whether a skill position player or a BIG SKILL player, we work with our clients on what they want to be.  After addressing warm up and range of motion, the basic speed/agility component focuses on multi-directional drills utilizing speed, ladders, plyometrics and hurdles. The CPS also introduces resistance training. We’ll start with our training bars incorporated with bodyweight exercises. The final component of each series includes fundamental skill development, utilizing innovative exercises and competitive drills to improve position-specific skills.

Frequently asked questions:

How are the workouts different from the past year?  We have added SSID's to our program.  Sport Specific Individual Drills.

What if I don't play football, lacrosse, or rugby?  You may workout with any group to learn skill sets or join our fitness group called Youth IMPACT!

I play a football but I have not yet started specific training for that sport, how can I learn what to do?  Join our "Elements of Training" class where we teach each athlete from the ground up exactly what to do in a slow paced easy learning environment.

Will the young athletes train in the same group as the High School players?  No way, our S&C Coaches will split each group so that they are age appropriate in their workouts.

Can I get extra 1-1 training from a coach that we really like?  Yes, all of our coaches are available for private sessions.
