Vision Training & Hyperbaric Chambers
Not only do we bring you the advantage over many of our competitors by having one of the top strength coaches in the country on site with his staff, we are raising the bar through our revolutionary VISION and HYPERBARIC CHAMBER sessions.
JLTA Sport Vision Training Center starts with making athletes aware of how important vision is to athletic performance.
By taking advantage of the JLTA Sport Vision Training Center, an athlete can improve his or her performance. That's because the eye, like the muscles in our bodies, can be strengthened to perform better with exercise. Some of the skills that can be enhanced with vision training are:
- Tracking – This is the ability to follow a moving object smoothly and accurately with both eyes, such as a ball in flight.
- Fixation – This is the ability to quickly and accurately locate and inspect with both eyes stationary objects, such as moving from word to word while reading
- Focus Change - This is the ability to quickly look from far to near and vise versa without momentary blur.
- Depth Perception – This is the ability to judge relative distances of objects and to see and move accurately in the three dimensional space, such as when hitting a ball.
- Peripheral Vision – This is the ability to monitor and interpret what is happening in your side vision, while attending to a specific central vision task; the ability to use visual information perceived from over a large area.
- Binocularity – This is the ability to use both eyes together, smoothly, equally, simultaneously and accurately.
JLTA Vision Training can be implemented each week to help improve all areas described. Your sports performance first begins with how you see. Training your eyes for your sport specific tasks can give you an edge up on the competition.
Taking advantage of Hyperbaric chamber sessions will put you in an elite group.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy promotes recovery from sports injuries by immediately providing high levels of oxygen to all tissues with greatest benefits to those areas that have been cut off from proper circulation, due to injury. Early hyperbaric oxygen therapy reduces tissue swelling. Improved blood circulation with hyperbaric oxygen prevents increasing of lactic acid causing muscle soreness, cramps and fatigue that lead to injuries.
